Experimental Investigation on Performance Parameters Affecting the Efficiency of Water Type PV/Thermal Collectors with Modified Absorber Configurations

In this study, efficiency of water-type photovoltaic/thermal (PV/T) modules that convert solar energy into both electrical and thermal were investigated. By using identical photovoltaic (PV) cells, one PV module five PV/T differed in structure with different diameters, amount layout absorber tubes, type sheets fabricated lamination technique. Firstly, the all samples under Standard Test Conditions was tested by a sun simulator. Efficiency values between 12.56% 12.68% STC. Furthermore, outdoor tests carried out to investigate effect temperature on ambient conditions samples. order determine units, parameters such as irradiation, voltage current values, inlet outlet water flow rate measured. It observed performance higher than due cooling circulation over cells. highest also determined. Total value attained 60.68% 67.14%.
